We deliver the Emergency First Aid at Work Course. This course is designed to be delivered over a single day. The training provides candidates with the essential skills required to undertake their duties as an Emergency First Aider in the Workplace.
 
Recommended for nominated emergency first aiders, in workplaces with lower health and safety risks. 
 
Delivered over 1 day, the training is highly interactive and provides essential skills for dealing with emergencies as topics covered include:
 
  • Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations
  • Managing an Incident
  • The Priorities of First Aid
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR
  • Choking Conscious Casualties
  • Choking Unconscious Casualties
  • Life Threatening Bleeding
  • Treatment of an Unconscious Casualty

  • Common Workplace Injuries

The course is delivered in a classroom environment and requires an element of physical activity. Candidates will be subject to continuous assessment by the trainer.
 
Successful candidates will receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years.

Additional Information
 
Candidates should attend this course wearing appropriate clothing that will enable them to be able to work on casualties in simulated incidents on the floor in workplaces. Candidates will be required to be able to deal with casualties on workplace floors and as such may result in clothing becoming dirty.
