First Aid at Work - Annual Update Training

Tel: 07736  743956

This course is for people holding a current First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work certificate. Research shows that critical skills decay is a significant issue for workplace first aiders. This refresher course provides you with an opportunity to practice and update your skills at any time during your three year period as a qualified first aider.

The HSE strongly recommends that those holding a First Aid at Work or an Emergency First Aid at Work attend a refresher session of 3 hours duration once each year during the three year certification  period. It would also be advantageous for those holding the paediatric qualifications such as the 12-hour Paediatric First Aid & Epi-Pen certification to refresh and update their skills on an annual basis.

This session will refresh your skills and update you on the latest First Aid protocols. Ensuring that you are again competent as a first aider. Candidates are continually assessed by the course trainer.

Candidates will be expected to undertake simulated incident training on the ground both inside and outside and should attend wearing appropriate work wear as would be worn in their place of work, which they may get dirty and may have “simulated casualty blood” on their clothing.
