Food Hygiene Level 3
 
This 2-Day course provides candidates with training in food safety supervision skills through a Nationally recognised food safety qualification at level 3.
 
The award is intended for those supervising food hygiene in catering, retail as well as manufacturing environments.
 
Gaining the level 3 award ensures that supervisors are aware of the responsibilities associated with food hygiene including storage, preparation, cooking and handling of food products.
 
The food standards agency deem the course content important to ensure good practice in the preparation of food products in workplaces.

Anyone working in a catering, manufacturing or retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled.

Assessment

 

  • The assessment takes 1 hour and is via a multi choice paper consisting of 30 questions.

 

Certification

 

  • HABC Level 3 Food Safety in catering /retail / manufacturing

                (you are able to sit the examination for your area of work)
